Returning to the Beginning

The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali are a classical text on the study of yoga, written more than two thousand years ago. Composed of short aphorisms, they are meant to be read slowly and reflected on over time.

Rather than offering ideas to believe, the Sutras describe a process — how attention is trained, how the mind behaves, and what it means to practice with steadiness.

Here, I am moving through the Sutras one by one, with curiosity about how these ancient observations meet the realities of life now — movement, recovery, discipline, aging, and the ordinary moments that shape practice.

You are welcome to explore alongside me.

Now, the study of yoga begins.
